This role involves teaching duties, and the successful candidate will engage with the Weipa Campus at various times during the term.The College provides access to specialist support in leadership, teaching, learning, and business operations including finance, facilities, and payroll. Your responsibilities include:Leading the school community in developing and committing to a shared educational vision focused on quality learning outcomes.Building partnerships with parents, government agencies, community groups, industry, and business.Understanding legislation and policies affecting schooling, especially regarding State Delivered Kindergartens.Managing resources effectively to meet goals.Supporting students from the Mapoon community in transitioning to secondary education pathways.WCC values leaders connected to the entire P-12 college, capable of sharing best practices and supporting continuous improvement.
