Nanosonics seeks a Field Service Engineer for a 6-month contract to service advanced electromechanical medical devices and support infection prevention technology.Your RoleHere's what you will be doing:Diagnose, repair, service, test, pack, and ship returned products.Travel to customer sites for product-related services, installations, training, and complaint investigations.Provide expert technical support to internal teams and back-up the technical support hotline as needed.Contribute to service process improvements, product innovation projects, and marketing/sales initiatives.Support Quality, R&D;, and Forensics teams with investigations, documentation, and product performance monitoring.Receive, unpack, and decontaminate returned products.Perform root cause analysis, repairs, preventive maintenance, and in-field validation.Test, pack, and ship serviced products according to customer requirements.Assist in verification, validation, and serviceability testing as required.Generate and maintain accurate service documentation compliant with ISO13485 and FDA QSR.Provide technical expertise to product development and marketing teams during field evaluations.Ensure compliance with all Quality Management System, OHS, and environmental procedures.About YouThe company is looking for:Experience with mechatronic, electromechanical, or electronic device servicing, investigation, repair, and testing.Solid customer service skills and ability to respond professionally to technical inquiries.High attention to detail with dexterous workmanship.Strong computer literacy (MS Office essential).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a energetic team.Australian driver's licence and ability to travel interstate and occasionally overseas.Flexibility to work in a progressive and changing workplace.Tertiary qualification in Electronics, Biomedical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related discipline).
