Redhill Hospitality Group (RHG) is establishing a new business division, RHG Vending, to deploy and scale vending machine solutions across hospitality, accommodation and broader commercial environments.
We are seeking a commercially astute, highly driven Head of Vending Operations & Growth to build this business from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a new venture within a growing hospitality group — shaping strategy, executing deployment, and scaling a national vending platform.
This role is both strategic and hands‑on. You will be responsible for developing the overarching business strategy while also leading on‑the‑ground execution — from site selection and machine placement through to remote management, stock control, reporting and performance optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Business Development
Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for RHG Vending, including:
* Market positioning and value proposition
* Target sectors and site typologies
* Growth roadmap and rollout sequencing
* Identify, pursue and secure new vending deployment opportunities across hospitality, accommodation, workplaces, education, healthcare and other suitable environments
* Build commercial proposals and negotiate site agreements, revenue share models and supply arrangements
Operational Deployment & Site Execution
Site assessments and positioning optimisation; Machine selection and configuration; Power, connectivity and compliance considerations; Work closely with property managers, clients and suppliers to ensure seamless installation and commissioning.
Remote Management, Stock & Supply Chain
Establish systems and processes for:
* Remote monitoring of machines and sales performance
* Stock control, replenishment cycles and shrinkage management
* Supplier coordination and product range optimisation
* Continuously improve operational efficiency and margin performance
Data, Reporting & Analytics
Design and maintain reporting dashboards covering:
* Revenue, margin and machine performance
* Product mix and sell‑through rates
* Site‑by‑site and portfolio‑level analytics
* Use data insights to inform pricing, product selection, machine placement and expansion decisions
* Develop scalable operating procedures, playbooks and controls
* Identify opportunities to leverage smart vending technology, cashless payment systems and data integration
* Contribute to broader RHG innovation initiatives where vending solutions can enhance guest experience or client value
About You
You are a commercially minded operator who enjoys building things from scratch. You are comfortable switching between board‑level strategy and rolling up your sleeves to solve day‑to‑day operational challenges.
You must have current Australian work rights at the time of application.
You will likely bring
* Proven experience in business development, operations or general management (vending, retail, hospitality, FMCG, facilities or similar industries highly regarded)
* A minimum of 3-5 years of management experience in a relevant industry
* Strong strategic thinking capability with the ability to translate strategy into execution
* Hands‑on experience with:
o Multi‑site operations
o Stock control and supply chain coordination
o Performance reporting and data‑driven decision‑making
* Willingness to undertake frequent national travel to support multi‑site operations across Australia
* High commercial acumen with a strong understanding of margin management and scalability
* Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
* A self‑starter mindset with the resilience and accountability required to build a new business unit
