Family Support Worker Job
As a Family Support Worker, you will be working with families and children in need of care and support. Your role will involve managing cases effectively to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children and young people in your care.
About the Role
* You will work closely with kinship carers, birth parents, extended family members, and professionals to provide a secure and nurturing environment for the child's development.
* You will support children and young people through daily challenges and foster positive relationships with them.
The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Community Welfare Work or a related discipline, and previous experience in the community services sector in a case management role would be advantageous. A current driver's license is also mandatory.

Skills and Qualifications Required
* Diploma in Community Welfare Work or a related discipline.
* Current driver's license.
* Previous experience in the community services sector in a case management role (desirable).
* Previous experience in the child and family welfare field, including Child Protection, Out of Home Care, Family Services and/or other services working with vulnerable families and children.
