YOUR NEW ROLE
The role provides strategic leadership and oversight of multi-arts and SOHP programming, managing and guiding producers to deliver bold, innovative, and impactful public programming as well as strategic projects and initiatives. It ensures programming excellence is achieved through alignment with organizational priorities, seamless cross-departmental integration, and a culture of collaboration and adaptability. This role strengthens connections between the Programming Portfolio and other portfolios to enable whole business outcomes, ensuring dependencies, risks and opportunities are understood and that programs contribute to the Opera House's artistic, cultural and strategic ambitions. The role also plays a critical role in leading change within SOHP, fostering engagement and embedding new ways of working to deliver on the organisations longer term vision.

Key Responsibilities/skills:
* Provide strategic support to the multi-arts programming team, guiding producers to resolve issues and deliver high-quality outcomes.
* Collaborate with department leaders to ensure programming decisions are data-informed, aligned with organisational priorities, and deliver measurable impact.
* Lead and support cross-portfolio projects, driving change management and embedding sustainable, long-term practices.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration and achieve shared outcomes.
* Strengthen coordination between key teams (Programming, Production & Events, Marcomms, Strategic Impact) and advise on team structures and workflows.
* Manage competing priorities in a complex environment, applying strong project management, communication, leadership and organisational skills.
