Soda Capital is a growing and fast paced inventory finance business based out of Brisbane, Australia. Our business provides best in marketfloorplanfinance and asset based financial services products todefined industries andcustomers acrossAustralia.

We are seeking2xdynamic and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing team. In this role, you willbe responsible foridentifyingnew business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the floorplan finance sector. Your strategic thinking, relationship-building skills, and passion for sales will be key to your success.


Key Responsibilities

* This role has a primary focus forBusiness Development and Sales
* Pro-actively manage a database of customers and prospects withinmarine, recreational vehicles,construction,industrial, light commercial vehicles,motorcyclesand agriculture sectors. Targeted to build solid and long-lasting working relationships, with future opportunities for development.
* Conversion of defined dealer opportunities, tobenefitfrom approved distributor/manufacturerprograms.
* Direct negotiation with customers and key decision makers to generate commercially acceptable transactions within our risk framework.
* Managing all aspects of individual dealer relationships for customers and prospects to ensure maximising of opportunities. This includes prospecting, detailing benefits, obtaining financials/non-financial information to support your credit submissions, documentation return, managing credit limit to ensure full business flow, and other activities asrequiredcommensurable with managing facilities for lifetime of relationship.
* Support development of business with relation to strategy, competitor activity, product development, system enhancements, geographicalexpansionand other activities asrequired
* Manage personal activity and pipeline to ensure personal targets are achieved including day to day planning and diarymanagement
* Ensuretimelyandaccuratereporting of activity and results using CRM and other systems asrequiredand advised from time to time.


Qualifications

* Relevant Financial tertiary qualification (or similar) preferred but notessential.
* Strong interpersonal skills areequally importantas formalqualification
* CurrentDriver'slicense


Experience

* At least 1 years' experience in Finance Industry– preferred
* At least 3 years proven sales ability with record of success within a highly competitive sales led organisation –preferred
* Previousfloorplan finance or asset financeexperience-preferred
* Willingness to travel and overnight away from home whenrequired.
* Strong verbal and written communicationaswellascommercial negotiation skills
* Ability to work within a team environment.
