Dedalus is a leading healthcare technology company specializing in patient management software. We are looking for an experienced Analyst Programmer to join our webPAS Application development team to help create solutions that make healthcare safer and more reliable.
What you'll achieve
As part of a highly successful webPAS application development team, you will develop and enhance market-leading patient management software used in hospitals across Australia and New Zealand. Your contributions will directly improve the care delivered by clinicians and nurses.
Key functions
Interpret and evaluate functional specifications and translate them into technical designs and code.
Develop high-quality application software in line with defined specifications, standards and workflow processes.
Assist Support and Implementation Engineers with investigation and resolution of client issues.
Assist test analysts during testing of scheduled and unscheduled releases.
Undertake assigned enhancements or defect tasks, aiming to resolve or complete them in a timely and effective manner.
Essential Requirements
Tertiary level qualifications in IT or equivalent industry experience.
4-5 years of experience with HL7 (V2 MLLP) & FHIR Messaging.
Experience with HTML and JavaScript.
Highly proficient in written and verbal communications.
Desirable Requirements
Experience in a Linux environment (vi editor).
Experience with Oracle, CISAM or SQL Server.
Experience working with a 3GL language.
Experience with Agile Software Development Methodology.
Experience with PHP.
