Description
The ROLE
The roles will be responsible for (but not limited to):
* Preventive maintenance & repairs to internal / external assets which includes servicing and breakdowns.
* Troubleshooting and diagnosing of mechanical problems and testing of completed repairs.
* Working unsupervised and as part of a small team collaborating with other Tradespeople.
* Ability to complete accurate details on job sheets timesheets and any other service requirements.
* Provide outstanding customer service and technical support on-site.
* Support the workshop team during downtime or as needed.
* Assisting with on-the-job training for our apprentices.
About YOU
* Current Driver's Licence.
* Trade Qualified in either Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant Mechanic.
* Have a strong background servicing, repairing and maintaining trucks or heavy machinery.
* Strong fault finding and diagnostics skills.
* Show a strong work ethic & high attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Commitment to maintaining safe work practices.
