We are a busy and expanding company seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and friendly content creator, writer, and coordinator to join and oversee our small, but highly productive team.
We’re looking for someone experienced to develop content for a variety of channels including but not limited to the website, blogs, digital ads, and social media.
The ideal candidate will be an organized multitasker with experience in a range of marketing functions and eager to learn.
Experience in floorcovering is preferred but not a deal breaker.
About the Role
Key responsibilities of this role include:
* Monitor brand reputation across all digital and print channels
* Monitor web and marketing activity analytics
* Create engaging content for social media and digital channels, including planning and execution
* Manage event listings across web, social media, and newsletters
* Grow and maintain image and video libraries
* Write briefs and manage event photographers and videographers
* Update web promotions and marketing
* Contribute to the marketing and communications of events and activities
* Other duties commensurate with experience
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
* Proficiency in Shopify, Premier Pro, InDesign, MS Excel, and other publishing software
* Degree or Diploma in Marketing is beneficial
* Task and outcome driven with minimal supervision
* Proven experience as a content creator, coordinator, or writer
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt copy across platforms
* Experience with email marketing programs and social media channels preferred
* Excellent vocabulary and communication skills to curate and convey brand messages
* Sharp editing, proofreading, and attention to detail
* Creative thinking and collaborative skills to brainstorm and execute ideas
* Ability to simplify technical information for general audiences
* Independent, proactive work ethic and ability to work within a team
* Excellent time management and multi-project handling skills
* Problem-solving skills and opportunity identification
* Consistent ability to produce high-quality content
