Diesel Hydraulic Fitter Tradesperson - Pleystowe Mill
About the role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor - Locomotives, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks for our fleet of locomotives, track maintenance mobile equipment and associated mechanical plant. You will be a key member of the Rolling Stock maintenance team, achieving targets in relation to safety, quality and productivity.

* Relevant trade qualification (Diesel Fitter, Mechanical Fitter or Equivalent trade)
* Manual Driver's License
* Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
* Ability to be self-motivated and organised
* Must hold Full Working rights in Australia
* Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow in a supportive team environment.
The following additional skills will be highly regarded, and the successful applicant will either already hold the below qualifications/licences or be willing to obtain through training and assessment for competency:
* Mobile Plant Maintenance
* Hydraulic Equipment Maintenance / Troubleshooting
* Gearbox, Transmission repairs and overhaul
* Ability to weld and use lathe/milling machines
* Basic Rigging, Forklift, Overhead and Mobile Crane
