We are currently seeking a professional, reliable and motivated individual to join our boutique hotel team as a Housekeeper with occasional Reception duties. This role is primarily focused on maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards, with the flexibility to support reception and front office operations as needed.
We are looking for someone who can provide a warm and professional first impression for our guests, with a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
General cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming and mopping
Laundry duties including washing, folding and ironing
Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across all guest areas
Reception (fill-in as required)
Being the central point of contact for guests and responding to requests promptly
Assisting with reservations and operating the hotel booking system
Supporting colleagues and taking initiative to ensure smooth daily operations
Attributes and Requirements
Enjoy interacting with people and providing exceptional service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic, reliability and excellent time management
Willingness to use initiative and problem-solve
Previous housekeeping or reception experience is highly desirable
Must hold a valid driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle (travel between multiple sites may be required)
Availability to work regular weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
