North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre, Artarmon, Sydney – Part-Time Receptionist/Client Services - Admin RoleNorth Shore Veterinary Hospital and Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Centre is a general practice and Specialist Referral Veterinary Hospital which has a 24-hour emergency service 365 days per year. It is one of the busiest Veterinary Hospitals in Sydney located on the lower North Shore, walking distance from St Leonards and Artarmon Stations.Due to staff movement, we are searching for a talented Permanent Part-Time Receptionist/Client Services. This new member of staff will know how important a functioning cohesive front of house team plays in a successful Veterinary Practice and would suit someone with a Reception/Client Service/Admin career wanting to work where the action is. Your bonus? - Caring for our client's beautiful 4-legged family members.Essential Criteria:Passionate and committed to caring for our patients and clients.Exceptional communication skills with excellent written and spoken English.Proven experience in a strong customer service role.Possess an excellent work ethic, is reliable and has a stable work history.Motivated with high emotional intelligence and energy levels.Intermediate to advanced level of computer skills in Word and Excel.Strong ability to multitask and keep calm under pressure.Able to work in a team environment and take direction.Duties Include but are not limited to:Greeting and managing clients and patients.Answering extremely busy phone lines and dealing with a high volume of emails.Appointment scheduling, helping clients with OTC products, keeping the reception area tidy and presentable.Client and patient data management.Bank reconciliations, stock deliveries and unpacking.Processing pet insurance claims/pathology results.Providing administrative support to veterinarians and management staff.What We Offer:An interesting, rewarding and varied role in a dynamic environment.Access to a great support network within the VetPartners community.Employee Assistance program.A working environment based on trust, respect, harmony, professionalism and the ability to support and nurture one another as a team.Remuneration is above award and based on experience.Experience in receptionist/client services in a veterinary practice or in a medical environment is preferred.
