The Opportunity
As Team Leader, Student Engagement Campaigns, you will shape and lead a connected suite of student transition and re‐engagement campaigns that support students from their first day through to graduation. You'll guide the design, coordination and delivery of evidence‐informed initiatives, oversee HEPPP and SSAF reporting, and provide clear insights to senior leaders that strengthen our approach year on year. Leading a team committed to peer connection and proactive support, you will ensure campaigns empower students to thrive and feel a genuine sense of belonging. Working in close partnership with colleagues across Student Services, the International Office, Marketing and Communication, and our Schools, you'll help align efforts across the entire student journey.
This role may require flexibility at key points in the academic calendar, with some non‐standard hours and limited leave during peak periods.

You will
* lead the design and delivery of campaigns that welcome, support and guide students throughout their university journey, aligning efforts across Student Services, Schools, the International Office and Marketing and Communication;
* provide leadership and guidance to coordinators, engagement officers and a large casual student team, including recruitment and training, to ensure the team is motivated and empowered; and
* evaluate campaign impact, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and present outcomes to Senior Management and Executive teams to strengthen student engagement.

You're comfortable navigating funding and compliance requirements, using data to drive decisions, and spotting opportunities to improve processes and outcomes. Most of all, you're passionate about student success, curious about emerging practices, and excited to contribute to UniSC's vision in a way that's practical, inclusive, and energising.
You will possess:
* Proven experience designing and delivering successful campaigns, working within a contact centre environment, or an equivalent blend of education and experience that demonstrates your ability to engage and support diverse communities.
* Strong analytical and evaluation skills, with experience translating quantitative and qualitative data into clear, thoughtful reports that inform decision making.
* Experience leading complex projects or multiple teams, confidently balancing competing priorities, managing resources and resolving challenges to deliver quality outcomes.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships, foster collaboration and establish credibility with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
* Sound judgement and problem‐solving ability, using initiative to develop practical solutions while managing competing deadlines and maintaining close attention to detail.
* Advanced digital literacy, including experience with Customer Relationship Management systems and the Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel capability to support analysis and reporting.
