NV1 Clearance Minimum

We are seeking an experienced and talented RF Systems Specialist with a minimum of NV1 security clearance to work on the delivery and sustainment of next generation mission systems hardware and software for Australia's Defence. 
Key Responsibilities: 
Work within a framework of legislation, established principles, work practices, and procedures in accordance with Defence's mission and business objectives. 
Analyse, diagnose, design, plan, execute and evaluate activities and work independently in determining methods and strategy. 
Manage complex workloads within an integrated workforce. 
Provide leadership and execute those duties necessary to maintain a safe and effective RF systems test and evaluation laboratory, including learning and complying with procedures, legislative, policy, and regulatory frameworks. 
Contribute expertise to the design and execution of test and evaluation activities for both complete and partial RF systems, including the subsequent analysis and interpretation of results. 
Draft clearly written reports and presentations on RF systems that present outcomes from activities in a timely manner. 
Facilitate appropriate direction for the team by clearly communicating goals and objectives, resolving problems using expertise and experience, taking the initiative to identify alternate courses of action. 
Requirements: 
NV1 security clearance - minimum 
Well-developed technical competence in RF/Microwave engineering. 
Thorough understanding of fundamental electronics theory. 
Familiarity with RF/Microwave simulation software. 
Familiarity with a wide range of RF test equipment. 
Good understanding of RF/Microwave measurement techniques. 
Valuable practical skills including soldering. 
Ability to analyse and solve problems creatively and proactively. 
An inquiring mind and a commitment to continued learning. 
Ability to work closely within a team. 
Ability to work to tight deadlines. 
Effective oral and written communication skills. 
Tertiary qualifications in Electronics or Communications Engineering (or a related discipline) coupled with a minimum of at least 2 years (up to 6 years) experience in circuit and/or system design.
