We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Social Worker to join the MASH Team in Wandsworth. Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, responsive social work services within the MASH Team.
Lead statutory cases including child protection and care proceedings.
Conduct comprehensive assessments, planning, implementation, and review (APIR) processes.
Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to safeguard children and support families.
Serve as a champion for best outcomes, ensuring children and families receive the highest standards of care.
Coordinate support for children with complex needs, and intervene where necessary to protect well-being.
Person Specification
Qualifications & Registration:
Relevant social work qualification.
Current registration with Social Work England.
Completion of ASYE Year (for newly qualified applicants).
Experience & Skills:
Proven experience across voluntary and statutory social work settings.
Strong communication skills and confidence in APIR processes.
Knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to child protection and safeguarding.
Understanding of the needs of children and young people, including complex emotional and behavioural issues.
