Focus of the Role This role reporting to the Regional Senior Lead - Site Acquisition Environment Design (SAED) is accountable for the management of acquisition and design projects delivered by the Wireless Program Office and its delivery partners, providing new and augmented mobile base station infrastructure into the Telstra Wireless networks, with a key focus on DAS/In-Building Coverage (IBC) projects.
This position provides specialist technical and project management capabilities to enable the delivery of projects to meet the relevant business demands for an allocated portfolio.
The position ensures that projects are managed in accordance with the Project Plan, with a focus on achieving the time, quality, and cost objectives.
The position also provides analysis of projects and project data to provide information on project and process performance, project inputs and financial status.

Managing expectations of stakeholders and delivery partners (including internal and external customers), driving change and negotiating successful project outcomes within a complex environment.
Ensuring effective communication to stakeholders on project progress risks/issues and managing appropriate mitigation strategies, to ensure achievement of business objectives.
Ensuring the accurate and timely input and maintenance of project data in the business systems in accordance with policies and business rules to meet project time, quality, and cost requirements.
The analysis of project data to provide project performance information to key stakeholders, including identification of project/program delivery risks.
Collaboration within the team to identify process improvements and cost benefits.
Identification and maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders and attendance at regular meetings to discuss and address any project-related matters.
Working across organisational boundaries to deliver shared accountabilities.
Actively engaging and maintaining external and internal stakeholder involvement and communication required to deliver effective project delivery outcomes for Telstra Operations, Networks and IT.
Establishing and leading cross-functional and/or virtual teams to deliver project outcomes, coaching and mentoring the teams to take responsibility for and meet regulatory requirements and project objectives.
Acting with appropriate urgency to ensure deliverables are met within specified time frames.
About You To be successful in this role you will have experience with the following: Demonstrated understanding of property, environmental planning, civil design, construction methods, the mobile network and Federal/ State telecommunication legislation and their interdependencies.
Have a good understanding of DAS/In Building Coverage (IBC) design deliverables, including (but not limited to) iBwave files, link budgets, levelling reports, Familiarity with MCF **** Guidelines for Distributed Antenna Systems Extensive knowledge of Federal/State specific legislation and guidelines such as the Telecommunications Act **** and the Mobile Phone Base Station Deployment Code **** etc, Residential Tenancies Act ****, the EP A Act.

Ability to engage, communicate, collaborate, consult and negotiate well at all levels and with multiple stakeholders including staff, external consultants and private sector providers.
Demonstrated ability to develop project scopes, and manage projects or project tasks within time, budgetary targets, and available resources.
