**The Role** 
Specific responsibilities include:
- Liaise and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes and support the sharing of information. 
- Provide advice and guidance across JMPU, JSSD and JCG to support informed, risk-based decision making. 
- Collect and analyse data on risk, business continuity and performance through consultation with key stakeholders. 
- Support the JMPU's governance committees, including providing committee papers. 
- Perform general administration and secretariat duties, including responding to governance queries, drafting agendas, developing and distributing meeting packs and recording and monitoring action items. 
- Undertake records management functions to ensure records are accurate, complete and managed in accordance with departmental policy. 
- Contribute to the development of key internal and external publications and products, ensuring their alignment JMPU objectives.
**About our Team** 
The Joint Military Police Unit (JMPU) conducts specialist military policing from 26 Defence base locations, nationwide and overseas. The JMPU also offers support to the civilian police and the general community in Defence related matters. These positions will give the successful applicant the opportunity to work in a records management team which is integrated within a Military Police environment.
Within JMPU, the Chief of Staff (COS) team is responsible for providing Provost Marshal-ADF functional and strategic support to the JMPU Headquarters. The COS team incorporates the Business Management team, Work Health and Safety team, governance functionality and the Executive Assistant. The COS team ensures all JMPU administrative requirements are managed both internally and externally to JMPU Headquarters. In additional the COS team are reactive to the Provost Marshal's ever-changing commitments and tempo.
