Position Overview
We are looking for a full‐time Warehouse Operator with a positive attitude to work at our Enfield Distribution Centre. The successful applicant will be required to work afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, 1 pm to 9 pm.
The main functions of this role will be picking stock to meet customer order requirements, forklift and manual loading of delivery vehicles, stock and inventory rotation and inventory monitoring.
Responsibilities
* Operate a forklift, including vehicle and container unloading.
* Stock rotation.
* Order picking.
* Inventory counts/stock taking.
* Documentation and record keeping.
* GMP, quality, safety and hygiene control.
* Manual handling/stacking of finished product.
* Manual truck loading.
* Monitoring and reducing waste.
Key Requirements
* Must have a current forklift licence (essential).
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions closely.
* Be highly focused on safety, quality and hygiene compliance.
* Be highly focused on attaining production targets and efficiency.
* Troubleshooting skills and ability to use initiative.
* Sound knowledge of Transport Chain of Responsibility principles.
* Experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment preferred but not essential.
* Availability to work public holidays as required.
* Ability to work occasional overtime if required.
* Ability to work unsupervised when required.
* Ability to work as part of a team.

We offer competitive hourly rates to the right applicant (including shift allowances and overtime rates). Experience in a cool room or warehouse will be highly valued, however is not essential.
