Job Title: Community Support Associate
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Support Associate to join our team. As a Community Support Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with day-to-day living activities in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Social Interaction: Engage participants in meaningful activities, assist them to participate in community events, and promote positive behavior, skills development & learning experience for participants.
* Transportation: Transport participants to and from community-based activities, ensuring safe and timely arrivals.
* Health and Wellness: Administer medications as prescribed, monitor individual's health, and maintain accurate records of individual's progress.
* Administrative Tasks: Complete all administrative tasks, including reporting any concerns to supervisor and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
* Driver's License: Current WA driver's license is required.
* Screening Check: NDIS worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain is essential.
* Certifications: First Aid Certificate and CPR are necessary.
* Working with Children's Check: Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain is required.
* Eligibility: Eligibility to work in Australia is mandatory.
* Vehicle Insurance: Reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Insurance is required.
* References: Two contactable references are necessary.
* Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience in supporting individuals with Autism and challenging behaviors is preferred.
