Robert Half is proud to be working in partnership with a reputable and growing accountant proactive based in Stafford, seeking a confident and capable Accounting or newly qualified Junior Accountant to join the team on a temp-perm basis.
This is fantastic opportunity for someone already working in practice, who enjoys preparing year-end accounts for a range of small limited companies and is now ready to step up or build on their portfolio management experience.
Daily duties:
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts for small limited companies
- completing working papers to a high standard, ready for review by the practice manager
- Supporting bookkeeping, VAT returns and tax computations where needed
- Liaising with clients to request information and resolve queries
- Ensuring compliance with relevant UK accounting and tax standards (FRS 102 / 105)
You will have:
- Experience working in an accountancy practice is essential
- Detail oriented, organised and capable of managing multiple deadlines
- Process strong communication skills and enjoy client interaction
