About the role
You will report to the Project Director on projects from concept design through to completion. You will demonstrate strong proficiency in Revit and Sketchup and deliver high quality concept and documentation packages. You enjoy working in a highly collaborative and creative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate on medium and large-scale projects, coordinate and manage expectations with all stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors, and builders
* Contribute to different project stages including concept design, schematic design, tender documentation and construction documentation
* Successfully convey and communicate design concepts through 2D and 3D drawings and renders for presentations and reports
* Assist with production of detailed drawings, schedules and specifications as part of a broader team
* Participate in design competitions to showcase the firm's creative capabilities and expand the project portfolio
* Able to collaborate on complex Revit files for large scale projects
What you will bring to the team
* Min 2-3 years local experience
* Master's degree in Architecture
* Revit and Sketchup proficiency – minimum of 2 years in a studio environment
* Understanding of NCC and Australian Standards, technical drawings and construction knowledge
* Exceptional eye for design and graphics
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong 3D visualisation and graphic presentation skills (Enscape, Lumion, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp and AI rendering/visualisation tools)
* Experience in developing and managing client relationships
* Architect registration and D&BP registration
