Join a well-regarded Melbourne practice specialising in Wills & Estates (including probate, estate planning and litigation). This is an ideal opportunity for a Legal Secretary or Assistant with experience in Wills, Estates, or Probate matters.

Whilst the day-to-day work is incredibly varied, typical duties will include:
* Preparing court documents and briefs and managing client communication
* Generating bills using Affinity and monitoring trust account balances.
* File opening, closure/archiving, including the management of electronic and hard copy content and liaising with the accounts department.
About you
This role requires someone with legal secretarial/assistant experience and organisational abilities, a strong eye for detail and a natural inclination for taking initiative. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter but also thrives in a collaborative work environment.
You can bring the following:
* Prior experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally with some wills, probate and estates experience
* Providing executive legal support to Partners and senior lawyers
* Managing end-to-end file administration; Drafting and formatting complex legal documents
* Scheduling client meetings, managing calendars and travel coordination
* Liaising with clients, courts and external stakeholders with discretion and professionalism
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
