Perigon Group is proud to be partnering with QIC in the search for an expert Strategy Professional to join their corporate team in this unique opportunity in the Brisbane market.
**The Company**
QIC is currently recruiting for a Manager, Corporate Strategy to join their Corporate Affairs, Government and Strategy team based in Brisbane.
This role is responsible for managing the development and delivery of QIC's enterprise strategy, strategic plans, and enterprise KPIs and targets to position QIC as a leading institutional investment manager.
This role will partner with the Executive Director - Corporate Affairs, Government and Strategy in the development QIC's enterprise strategy by providing evidence-based analysis and consideration of external factors impacting QIC's strategy.
**The Role**
It will be responsible for leading and undertaking robust data modelling and analysis to assess the changing competitive landscape and provide strategic advice and planning to ensure opportunities are capitalised.
Other accountabilities include:
- Woking closely with Executives and Investment Teams to manage and drive QIC's annual strategic planning process and coordinating inputs from key stakeholders to influence decision making and gather insights.
- Work with Risk team to identify threats and risks early and ensure a proactive response and minimise impacts.
- Develop and deliver robust strategic planning, analysis, and modelling processes to ensure opportunities are identified and realised as they emerge.
- Evaluate potential business opportunities including undertaking competitive, financial, market and performance analysis and providing insights and recommendations.
- Conduct analysis on critical business challenges monitoring competitive market and economic conditions providing ongoing advice to key stakeholders on strategic impacts.
- Represent QIC at relevant industry forums, events, and conferences.
**About You**
With prior experience in a strategy management or consulting position gained in Funds Management, Professional Services, Financial Services, or the Superannuation Industry you will ideally present with:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Business/Strategy/Finance/Economics, further post graduate education such as an MBA would be highly regarded.
- Executive level consulting and advisory skills to engage and deliver stakeholder requirements.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders including Executive Management team and investment heads to influence critical decision making and gather insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; with a solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to translate and communicate technical and complex information including data analysis and modelling relating to strategic development and delivery.
- A deep understanding of Data Analytics, and a proficiency in the interpretation of models and experience with forecasting and planning.
- Prior experience in developing strategic plans, delivering research and advice to inform corporate strategies, and establishing KPI's and targets.
