We are seeking an experienced and qualified Cabinet Maker to join our team at Bill and Ben the Cabinetmen in tropical Townsville, North Queensland.
As a full-time Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinetry for our clients.
What you'll be doing
* Following detailed designs and plans for custom cabinetry.
* Operating a range of power tools and machinery to fabricate and assemble cabinetry.
* Installation of cabinetry.
* Ensuring all projects meet quality standards and adhere to clients' specifications
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
What we're looking for
* Certificate IV qualification in Cabinet Making
* Excellent cabinet making skills, including the ability to use a variety of power tools and machinery. Experience with kitchens is highly desirable.
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Cabinet Maker with a focus on custom residential cabinetry.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team
* Good time management and strong problem-solving skills
* Passion for creating custom, high-end cabinetry and furniture
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings.
* White card and Forklift license (desirable though not essential)
* Australian permanent residency required.
