Retail First is a leading shopping centre management company, proudly managing 21 shopping centres across South East Queensland. We're excited to offer a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Mt Ommaney Centre, one of the flagship centres in the Retail First portfolio.
This role is perfect for a graduate or early-career marketer who wants hands-on experience across events, digital marketing, PR, retail marketing and customer engagement - all while learning from an experienced Marketing Manager and working onsite within a supportive, collaborative team.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll play a key role in bringing the shopping centre to life. From coordinating events and promotions to managing digital content and working onsite closely with retailers, this role offers variety and exposure across all areas of marketing.
You'll be involved in:
* Planning and delivering in-centre events and entertainment, including retailer launches and promotional activities
* Creating, scheduling and managing content across social media, email marketing, and the centre website
* Monitoring and managing social media channels, ensuring content connects with our target audience
* Producing retailer communications and newsletters
* Managing digital directories and assisting with traffic counter reporting
* Overseeing graphic design projects and liaising with designers, printers, and other contractors
* Working closely with retailers to support their marketing initiatives and build strong relationships
* Supporting the execution of the centre's marketing plan to keep the centre top of mind with customers
* Providing general administrative and marketing support to the centre management team
About You:
You're organised, enthusiastic and keen to learn. You enjoy juggling multiple projects, working with people, and seeing your ideas come to life in a real-world environment.
You'll bring:
* Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, PR or Business
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A genuine interest in digital marketing, including social media, websites, and email campaigns
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* The ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
* A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mindset
