We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team and assist with the full payroll processing cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
About the Role
This role is responsible for supporting our national operations in Melbourne. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial instruments, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with end-to-end payroll experience
* Support Chris 21 payroll software
* Develop a strong understanding of regulatory issues related to PAYG tax, payroll tax, superannuation, workers' compensation, salary packaging, and FBT
* Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
* Work efficiently and prioritize tasks
Requirements
* At least 3 years of payroll experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience with Chris 21 payroll
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
