The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Trainer & Assessor to deliver hands-on training in RII Certificate III in Civil Construction to our job seeker students, shaping the next generation of construction professionals.
Theory sessions will be conducted at one of our classroom locations, while practical training will take place onsite at Kenwick.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct engaging and inspirational face to face training sessions in accordance with the RTO's standards and guidelines
* Use your industry expertise to educate students on plans, drawings, levelling equipment, and industry math's and calculations
* Provide support and guidance to students through innovative and exciting learning opportunities
* Assess and support student competency and achievement through one on one and group training
* Conduct student placement visits
* Provide constructive feedback on learning resources and training products
* Maintain accurate training records and documentation
Requirements
* At least 5 years of demonstrated work experience in the construction industry, or similar
* Ability to engage with a diverse cohort and deliver engaging classroom sessions motivating students to progress their own learning
* Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Great time management with strong verbal and written communication skills
* Current Working with Children Check
* Current Australian driver's licence

* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
* Certificate III in Civil Construction
