Business Risk and Controls Senior Associate
We are seeking an experienced Business Risk and Controls Senior Associate to join our team. This role will involve leading and/or supporting one or more of the bank's Enterprise and Operational Risk Management programs.
* The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a business risk and control team, supporting risk management.
Job Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage enhancements to and execution of the bank's enterprise and operational risk programs.
* Collaborate with front line units and other stakeholders to ensure appropriate program design from a risk management and end user perspective.
* Provide oversight, guidance and challenge for front line units to ensure adherence with program requirements.
* Support integration of operational risk programs and data into the bank's GRC tool.
* Develop and produce ongoing risk reporting and perform risk data analysis.
* Develop presentations and reports to support internal and external audits.
* Identify and escalate risks as appropriate.
Required Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* 5+ years' experience in the financial services industry with three or more years in Risk and Controls at a large bank.
* Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects successfully.
* Experience with operational losses.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
* Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools a plus.
