About the role:
A newly created role within the internal General Counsel team supporting the business across a variety of legal and compliance issues.
Key responsibilities:
* Partner with stakeholders to assess and negotiate client contractual terms (including RFTs and panel agreements)
* Manage supplier-side contracting, including drafting and negotiation of commercial and technology agreements
* Draft and review NDAs and other short-form legal documents
* Advise on professional risk matters, regulatory obligations and internal governance requirements
* Contribute to firm-wide compliance initiatives (privacy, modern slavery and other emerging obligations)
* Support ongoing improvements to legal processes, templates and policies
* Deliver clear, pragmatic legal support aligned to business priorities
About you:
* Admitted lawyer with circa 3 years + PQE
* Experience in corporate/commercial (private practice or in-house)
* Strong interest in risk and compliance
* Confident communicator with strong attention to detail
