Fend Hospitality T/A Lusso Bistro is looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Cook who is passionate about culinary arts. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a finger on the pulse of current culinary trends. The Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring them, cooking food using various methods like baking, grilling, and frying according to recipes, maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards, managing food storage and inventory, presenting dishes attractively, and operating and cleaning equipment. Responsibilities
- Seasoning, preparing and cooking all dishes and breads.
- Portioning and presenting food items as per standard procedures and garnishes.
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene at all times.
- Receiving, storing and rotating all stock as per procedures and HACCP standards and taking a systematic prevention approach to food safety by identifying potential hazards.
- Maintaining Workplace Health and Safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively and support other members of the kitchen team and other restaurant staff.
- Weigh, measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
- Checking that different recipes are cooked according to the full standard and in the proper way as per our restaurant guidelines.
- To keep the wastage to the minimum and help keeping the food cost down.
- Checking the food quality prior to and after cooking.

- Minimum 01 year of work experience.
