What you’ll be doing
As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer at Alcoa, you will learn, grow, and develop hands-on experience in:
- Supporting the residue team and site Civil and Senior Geotechnical Engineers in handling dam safety, preparing facility plans, and applying standard engineering methodologies.
- Providing engineering input into the design and maintenance of residue storage facilities.
- Contributing to the refinery and residue EH&S;, and providing insights into problem resolution for bauxite residue assets.
- Supporting the WA residue capital planning, approval, and review processes.
- Monitoring civil engineering design and construction QA.
