Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled FIFO Excavator Operator to join our client's team in Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating 360 excavators to support various construction and excavation projects. This role requires either final trim or GPS experience, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and precision to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in excavation activities, particularly with GPS-guided equipment, and be comfortable working in a dynamic construction environment. Preferably someone with prior FIFO experience.
Responsibilities
* Operate 360 excavators with a focus on final trims and precise excavation tasks in accordance with site plans.
* Interpret site plans and implement excavation requirements accordingly.
* Maintain a strong commitment to safety protocols and site regulations.
* Work effectively both independently and within a team.
* Demonstrate GPS-guided equipment experience and precision in excavation tasks.
Qualifications
* Current Excavator (Digger) licensing and GPS machine operation experience.
* Proven track record in excavation activities, particularly with GPS-guided equipment.
* Experience operating 360 excavators with a focus on final trims.
* Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests.
* Ability to pass an excavator-specific ability test.
* Comfort with FIFO work arrangements.
