Job Summary
Maintain and deliver world‑class service and optimize advanced systems for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Work in a supportive team with experienced coworkers, both at customer sites and in the office, who will teach you all the knowledge they have about our machines.
* Prepare, execute and report preventative equipment maintenance visits.
* Attend customers sites to conduct service visits.
* Troubleshoot production issues at customers' sites.
* Complete on‑site evaluations, install machine enhancements, and appropriately test and calibrate parts to meet tolerances and product specifications.
* Ensure that the JBT Marel experience for customers matches the JBT Marel promise of superior performance, service, and quality with outstanding communication skills as you work closely with customer management, supervisors, etc.
* Troubleshoot and perform break‑fix services to high‑technology food processing equipment.
Qualifications
* Trade certified mechanical fitter/machinist/boilermaker.
* Technical aptitude.
* Work autonomously and takes initiative.
* Read manuals.
* Parts management.
* Strong communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability / willingness to work weekends.
* Ability / willingness to travel.
Nice to Have
* Food industry background.
* Process knowledge.
* Rigging.
* Read P&ID drawings.
