We are seeking an innovative Operations Manager to join our Technology Centre (CTC) located in Canberra. This role requires a strong process improvement eye and well-versed people leadership skills. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Technology Centre and associated business within our organization.
Main Responsibilities
* Strategic Management: Manage all aspects of the operational centre service to ensure contractual and service level agreements are achieved.
* Team Leadership: Provide management and direction to the team, promoting reward, recognition, and feedback throughout the Technology Centre.
* Recruitment and Retention: Recruit and retain a strong team, ensuring direct reports understand the expectations of their role.
* Daily Productivity: Manage daily productivity across site through real-time, daily, and monthly reporting tools.
* Financial Management: Ensure client revenue and other financial budgets are met and monitored on a monthly basis.
* Process Improvement: Identify trends and develop and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the Technology Centre.
* Customer Relationships: Develop an understanding of the client's business and form relationships in order to generate additional revenue.
* Sales and Marketing Support: Assist Sales and Marketing to identify, investigate, and scope service extension opportunities and additional work requests to achieve growth objectives.
Requirements
* Experience: Experience in leading a high-performing operational team.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Qualifications: Six Sigma/LEAN qualification desirable.
* Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail.
* Decision Making: Excellent decision-making skills.
* Productivity Management: Excellent productivity management and continuous process improvement skills.
* Time Management: Excellent time management and organizational skills.
