Communication Officer (AO3) - Contract Opportunity - Townsville
We are seeking an AO3 Communication Officer to provide essential communication and stakeholder support across a wide range of planning, pre-construction, and construction projects.
This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality communications and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders while enabling senior team members to focus on more complex and time-sensitive matters.
The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth and effective delivery of project commitments by producing well-crafted communication materials and supporting engagement activities for low-risk project matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop clear and engaging communication materials, including correspondence, project flyers, social media content, and website updates.
Support stakeholder engagement activities for low-risk projects, including responding to public enquiries via phone and email.
Prepare and maintain project webpages, internal knowledge-base pages, and analytics reports.
Coordinate flyer distribution and assist in the preparation of communication responses.
Manage correspondence and maintain tracking systems to ensure timely follow-up and reporting.
Source and maintain stakeholder information, lot details, and contact records in spreadsheets and consultation management tools.
Assist with stakeholder meetings and liaise with engagement officers to support project delivery.
