Application Support Engineer – Weekend Shift

Responsibilities
Provide application support 4 days a week and 1 day over the weekend to ensure seamless operations.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
Analyze logs, FIX messages, and other primary sources to determine the root cause of trading and quoting issues.
Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve system-related queries.
Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
Document support activities and maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions.
Assist in deploying updates and patches to applications as required.
Provide training and guidance to end-users on application usage when necessary.
Maintain a strong understanding of company applications and systems.
Qualifications
2-5 years experience in application support in the financial services industry especially trading industry.
Has demonstrated proficiency with investigations related to trade execution and market data distribution processes and lifecycles.
Understanding of FIX protocol.
MetaTrader 4 / 5 application knowledge is preferred / desired.
Good knowledge of TCP / IP and Networking.
Basic knowledge of SQL (PGSQL, MYSQL).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with software applications and system monitoring tools.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
