PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
The objective of the position is to deliver operational records and information management services, leadership of the Records Management
team, delivery of electronic management solutions and providing strategic direction on records and information management to ensure
compliance with legislation and standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The "WHAT" to be delivered
* Provide specialist advice and functional leadership to promote accountable and compliant recordkeeping and information management
practices to meet strategic objectives of the Corporation.
* Manage and coordinate the continued development of functional records and retention schedules to ensure compliance with NTG
Records Standards and Information Act.
* Contribute to the identification, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of information and records management improvement
initiatives, projects, and supporting policies and procedures.
* Engage with all stakeholders internal and external including the Information Commissioner of the Northern Territory to ensure
compliance with all legislative requirements and the implementation of all records and information strategies.
* Develop education, training and awareness programs on information management and records management for employees.
* Manage staff and monitor budget related expenditure inclusive of contractor and project expenditure ensuring all budgetary
requirements are met.
* Maintain and review record retention schedules and disposal activities in accordance with legislation and in-line with NTG and PWC
specific retention schedules. Maintain the functional Business Classification Scheme to ensure the accurate identification, classification
and titling of records.
* Carry out duties in accordance with Power and Water's safety, environmental and quality policies and corporate values and strategies.

SELECTION CRITERIA
Qualification and Skills Experience
Essential • Demonstrated knowledge and experience at a middle • Demonstrated experience in information
