Job Title: Electronics Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer to join our team.
About the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks including diagnosing and repairing industrial electronic equipment, reverse engineering, circuit design, and remanufacturing. Additionally, they will develop apparatus and procedures to test electronic components, circuits, and systems. The engineer must also identify and test electrical and power electronics systems, troubleshoot, repair, and test industrial electronic equipment, and develop solutions (software and hardware) to improve equipment performance and reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Fault-finding and repairing electronic circuits at component level (both Surface Mount and Through Hole technologies)
* Ability to work with schematics or in the absence of schematics
* Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Australian-recognised) and Australian Master in Electrical and Electronics Engineering preferred
* Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electronics Engineer, including at least 1 year in Australia
* Expertise in electronic engineering, circuit design, fault-finding, electronics, or electrical engineering

The successful candidate is expected to have hands-on diagnostic experience in fault finding and repairing equipment from Allen-Bradley, ABB, Mitsubishi, GE, Siemens, Hitachi, or other brands. They must also possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, experience with testing and diagnosis of industrial electronic PCBs, mechanical aptitude for dismantling and reassembly of equipment being repaired, experience using power tools, familiarity with industrial control systems, strong attention to detail and documentation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and excellent soldering skills on all levels of SMD components.
