The Opportunity
This role is based in Brisbane at our Wacol Office.
You will take ownership for building and maintaining internal and external customer relationships, whilst delivering high-level technical & product support, which contributes to customer and our businesses success.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrate Safety commitment and perform all work activities in a safe manner adhering to HCMO Safety Policies and Procedures
* Manage and support all technical issues within breakdown support, failure and root cause analysis
* Accurately and effectively communicate with customers and deliver accurately with reliability of improvement projects
* Meet and engage professionally with various stakeholders to support finding and navigating through complex technical analysis
* Work collaboratively with the team in transferring knowledge and findings
* Report and maintain fleet performance
* Complete tasks autonomously and efficiently
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Relevant mechanical trade or engineering tertiary qualifications
* Significant experience in open cut mining, civil earthworks or other related industries, either in engineering, maintenance leadership or technical/product support roles
* Proven technical understanding of key disciplines, such as mechanical/electrical systems; schematics, drawings & manual interpretation
* High level analytical and problem solving skills to facilitate resolution of product and technical issues
* Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) with the ability to effectively liaise and deliver information at a high level to diverse range internal and external customers
* High level of customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships through delivery of Hitachi Reliable Solutions
* Experience with Hitachi Mining Equipment Excavators will be highly regarded
