About the Role:
As our Communications Manager, you'll lead the development and delivery of internal communication strategies that strengthen engagement, alignment, and connection across our diverse workforce. Partnering closely with the Chief People Officer, P&C Leadership Team, and senior stakeholders, you'll ensure our people receive clear, consistent, and compelling communication that reflects our values and supports our strategic priorities.

What You'll Be Doing:
Internal Communications Strategy
* Design and deliver internal communication strategies aligned with our values and business goals.
* Develop messaging frameworks for key initiatives, change programs, and leadership updates.
* Lead the execution of our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) across internal and external channels.
Employee Engagement
* Partner with P&C and business leaders to support engagement initiatives including surveys, events, and recognition programs.
* Create campaigns and content that promote inclusion, wellbeing, and connection.
* Champion the benefits of working at InvoCare through engaging, EVP‑aligned messaging.
Content & Channel Management
* Manage key communication channels including intranet, newsletters, town halls, and digital signage.
* Write, edit, and produce high‑quality content for diverse employee audiences.
* Collaborate with our internal marketing team to ensure brand consistency.
Stakeholder Partnership
* Equip leaders with communication toolkits and coaching to support effective message delivery.
* Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Corporate Affairs, and project teams to ensure alignment.
* Balance local and group communication needs across regions and business units.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
* Monitor communication effectiveness using analytics and employee feedback.
* Report insights to senior leadership and drive continuous improvement.
Leadership & Governance
* Ensure compliance with communication policies, governance frameworks, and brand standards.
* Promote safety, wellbeing, and psychosocial awareness in all communication activities.
What You'll Bring:
* Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field.
* 8+ years' experience in internal communications or employee engagement.
* Proven ability to deliver strategic communication plans.
* Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
* Experience with digital communication platforms and analytics tools.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability.
* Project management excellence with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
* Experience in change communication and organisational development is highly valued.
