About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sterile Pharmacist to join our dedicated team at Formulae Albion, in Queensland. As a full-time Sterile Pharmacist, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient compounding of sterile pharmaceutical products to meet the unique needs of our patients. What you'll be doing
* Preparing and compounding sterile pharmaceutical products, including intravenous solutions, eye drops, and other sterile medications
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to sterile compounding
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to prevent contamination
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to provide optimal patient care
* Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of our compounding processes and procedures
What we're looking for
* Registered Pharmacist with a minimum of 2 years' experience in sterile & or compounding
* Thorough knowledge of sterile compounding techniques, aseptic procedures, and relevant regulations, training is provided in addition
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the healthcare team
