An exciting opportunity has become available for a Village Manager to lead our dedicated team at Windsor Park, nestled in the leafy suburb of St Albans Park in Geelong. Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, Windsor Park offers incredible resort-style amenities and a vibrant and supportive environment for residents and our team to interact and enjoy.
Responsibilities
* Foster a warm, inclusive environment where residents enjoy a rich calendar of social events and have access to inviting communal spaces, with the peace of mind that comes from living in a supportive Keyton community.
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the village, including overseeing maintenance, coordinating with service providers, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Attend and take minutes during the quarterly advisory board meetings.
* Be the friendly face that listens to concerns, solves problems, and ensures residents are happy, healthy, and thriving.
* Plan and oversee a variety of engaging activities, from themed dinners and movie nights to gardening clubs and fitness classes.
* Lead a passionate team of staff who share your commitment to creating an exceptional living experience for our residents.
Qualifications
* Excellent people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
* Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience in budgeting and financial reporting .
* Proven experience in asset management, ideally within property, facilities, or retirement living
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to resident wellbeing
* Experienced in operational management, with strong organisational, consultative and negotiation skills
* Have excellent computer skills (confident with the use of Microsoft Office Suite and various online applications)
* Resilient and a problem-solver who can think on your feet and handle challenges with grace
* Customer-centric, always putting the needs and satisfaction of residents first
* A people person with a genuine love for working with seniors
* Compassionate, with a deep understanding of the unique needs of independent living seniors
Requirements
* First Aid and CPR certificates, and driver's license with own transport; willingness to complete where not held
