Administration Officer – Aged & Community Care
Wangaratta, VIC | Temporary Part Time (24 hours per week until July 2026) | $35.43 per hour + super

The Rural City of Wangaratta is seeking an organised, compassionate, and service-focused Administration Officer – Aged & Community Care. In this vital role, you'll support the delivery of high-quality aged and community care services that are safe, effective, and centred on the needs of the people we serve.

What You'll Be Doing:
* You'll be the friendly, reliable admin backbone of our Aged & Community Care team. Every day, you'll:
* Respond to client and carer enquiries with empathy, accuracy, and respect
* Keep client records, service agreements, and rosters up to date in care management systems
* Manage purchase orders, process accounts for payment, and support financial compliance
* Support aged care events like the Seniors Festival, promoting inclusion and wellbeing
* Contribute to quality improvement and help refine our systems and service
* Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, including privacy and duty of care protocols
What You Bring:
* We're looking for someone with the right balance of head and heart — strong technical admin skills, a love for organisation, and a genuine interest in the wellbeing of older people and carers.
* Certificate IV in Business (Office Administration) or relevant experience
* Experience in financial systems, data collation, and client databases
* Great with time management, multitasking, and a strong attention to detail
* High-level customer service skills with a positive, professional attitude
* A current driver licence and satisfactory police record check
