Position Details

* 2X Full-Time Permanent Positions Available
* Classification: Nurse Practitioner 1st Year with a salary of $149,108 per annum + Superannuation or Nurse Practitioner 2nd Year with a salary of $153,535 per annum + Superannuation
* Salary packaging arrangements providing tax benefits available for living and entertainment expenses increasing your take home income where part of your wage is paid tax free each pay, savings thousands in tax each year
* Location: Urgent Mental Health Care Centre, Adelaide SA 5000

About your new role

The Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is an exciting role responsible for providing person centred clinical nursing care services to guests accessing the Urgent Mental Health Care Centre.

As the Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will form part of the UMHCC multidisciplinary team responsible for providing clinical leadership and high-quality, person centered care to guests accessing the UMHCC. Based upon the key principles of Clinical Practice, Leadership, Education and Research, the Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is an integral member of the multidisciplinary team and draw on their clinical expertise of mental health recovery & crisis intervention.

What you will bring to the role

* Formal tertiary qualifications in Nursing
* Current full registration as an Nurse Practitioner with current annual practicing certificate from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Credentialed status with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN) would be highly desirable.
* Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner).
* Current Prescriber Number
* All staff are required to adhere to the UMHCC immunisation policy directives to minimise the risk of vaccine preventable diseases to protect workers, other employees, guests and visitors

* National Criminal History Check (police check) - disclosable outcomes considered
* Current Working with Children Check
* Australian working rights
