The Position
This is an exciting opportunity for a Regional Visual Merchandiser to join our expanding team. The successful applicant will be responsible for their own region of stores across Brisbane and Sunshine Coast.
The full-time role reports directly to the National VM Co-ordinator and is responsible for ensuring all allocated stores implement, maintain and follow our VM Company guidelines including:
* Execution of VM plans and merchandise presentation in-store and windows
* Ensuring all allocated stores are provided with VM support
* Ensuring staff are trained in all aspects of VM by conducting staff training, regular workshops, and one-on-one training
* Providing regular contact, feedback, and updates to the National VM Manager and National VM Co-ordinator
* Working from Support Office supplied VM briefs, create and photograph new and dramatic visual display points
* Managing the implementation of VM components for Catalogue set-up and major events
* Assisting with new store opening and/or refurbishments
* Analysing and monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify VM opportunities
* Proposing solutions when challenges arise during times of VM implementation
The Perfect Profile
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have Visual Merchandising experience in a retail environment and a genuine interest in homewares. We will also consider recent VM/Design graduates with a demonstrated retail background.
We are looking for a candidate that is enthusiastic and energetic. Someone who will show initiative and creativity in solving problems and have the capability to build strong working relationships with our store teams and regional managers. You will thrive in an autonomous, independent role, showcasing a creative flair and an eye for detail.
Applicants must have their own vehicle and a current driver's license as you will be travelling to selected stores daily.
