Isaac Regional Council is seeking a skilled Mobile Mechanical Fitter to join our Fleet Department. Reporting to the Coordinator Plant & Workshops, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and servicing Council's diverse fleet of vehicles, plant, and equipment — both in the workshop and out in the field.

To be successful in this position, you will have:
* Trade qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
* Experience in auto electrical repairs and field diagnostics
* Blue/White Card
* Current C Class Open Australian Driver's Licence
* Ability to pass a pre-employment functional assessment
* Strong mechanical experience across light/heavy vehicles and heavy plant
* Welding and fabrication skills (highly regarded)
* Sound understanding of Workplace Health & Safety
* Ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams
* Effective communication and organisational skills
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
