Purpose of the Role
Manage complex claims end-to-end, using expertise to deliver strong outcomes for intermediated customers. 6 month maximum Term Contract.
Key Priorities
* Manage 80–100 complex property and SME claims end-to-end.
* Ensure timely resolutions and optimal financial outcomes.
* Investigate and adjust large, complex claims.
* Build strong relationships with brokers, adjusters, and suppliers.
* Set accurate reserves and ensure full regulatory compliance.
* Proactively manage risk and seek continuous improvement.
* Follow all WHS policies and contribute to a safe workplace.
* Support a strong risk culture within the team and business.
About You
Experience & Knowledge:
* Degree desirable but not essential.
* 5+ years' experience managing home, landlord, and SME claims.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and industry best practice.
* Understanding of general insurance and broker environments.
* Commercial thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
* Proven customer service experience in a complex industry.
* Self‐motivated with excellent time management and organisation skills.
Ways of Working
This role can be remote for the right applicant. Youi offers a hybrid model: in‐office Tuesday to Thursday, remote Mondays and Fridays. This role can be based at any three of our locations: Sippy Downs, Brisbane or Sydney.
