Cyber Security Systems Engineer
As a Cyber Security Systems Engineer, you will contribute to the development, integration, and maintenance of systems ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing security Assessment and Authorisation (A&A) documentation
* Conducting threat and risk assessments, identifying and recommending treatment controls and mitigation strategies
* Participating in security working groups at Product and/or Project levels with internal and external stakeholders
* Providing input to and reviewing the development of system tests and analysis that verify system security controls
This role involves flexible work arrangements. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cyber security engineering, software development, computer networks, and embedded software systems.
About You:
You should possess:
* Cyber Security Engineering experience with software development, computer networks, and embedded software systems
* Knowledge and experience related to Defence cyber security Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes
* Knowledge and experience about contemporary security engineering process, standards, principles, and best practice
* Tertiary qualifications in systems/software engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline
* Pursuing or achieved relevant cyber security certification(s)
A defence security clearance is required for this role. Applicants must be an Australian Citizen and hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance preferably NV1/NV2 level.
