Job Title: Senior Prison Officer
In this challenging and rewarding role, you will lead a team of prison officers within the Victorian Public Service.
Your day-to-day operations will involve coaching, mentoring, and supporting your team to ensure effective case management and custodial responsibilities.
You will contribute to creating and sustaining a positive workforce culture, demonstrating leadership through example, and maintaining a healthy and safe workplace.
You will also be responsible for coordinating team operations, applying dynamic security principles, and working with staff, prisoners, and other service providers to deliver an integrated approach to reducing re-offending.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in a correctional environment
* Commitment to working with diverse stakeholders
* Experience in areas relevant to correctional delivery or statutory environments
* A full Victorian driver's licence
* A Certificate III in Correctional Practice (Custodial) or similar
