We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Scrub Nurse to join our perioperative services team on a permanent part-time basis.
Job Description
The successful candidate will deliver exceptional, best practice nursing care to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and an industry leading patient experience in a fast-paced and varied environment.
The role will involve working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs, acting as a role model for safe practice, administering medications according to state law and organisation policy, and ensuring compliance with ACSQHC National standards.
The ideal candidate will possess sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, and be able to work well independently and within a team.
Requirements
* Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision of the RN.
* Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs.
* Act as a role model for Safe Practice.
* Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy.
* Current Registration with AHPRA.
* Minimum 1-year acute experience.
* MED and IV endorsed.
* Commitment to Quality Patient Care.
* Compliance with ACSQHC National standards.
* Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
